Sams Labs LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates the Soréll mobile application. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Information We Collect
When you use Soréll, we may collect:
- Account information - email address and display name when you create an account
- Household preferences - dietary restrictions, allergies, taste preferences, and household member profiles you provide
- Kitchen scan data - images you capture of your kitchen are processed by AI to identify ingredients. Images are processed in real-time and not stored on our servers
- Usage data - meal ratings, recommendation interactions, cooking session activity
- Device information - device type, operating system version, app version
How We Use Your Information
- To provide personalized meal recommendations based on your kitchen contents, preferences, and household needs
- To improve our recommendation engine and meal database
- To manage your account and subscription
- To send service-related communications
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with row-level security. All data is encrypted in transit via TLS. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase - database and authentication
- Google Gemini - kitchen image analysis (images are processed per Google's API terms and are not used for training)
- ElevenLabs - text-to-speech for cooking guidance (no personal data is shared)
- RevenueCat - subscription management
- Apple - in-app purchases and TestFlight distribution
Camera and Photo Access
Soréll requests camera access solely to scan your kitchen for ingredient identification. Photos are processed in real-time via AI and are not stored on our servers or shared with third parties beyond the processing service.
Children's Privacy
Soréll is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
Your Rights
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, all personal data - including household profiles, preferences, and usage history - will be permanently removed.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or via email.
